Chicago Art Department and Latina Sweat Project plan Halloween fundraiser

Chicago Art Department and Latina Sweat Project will hold Double Trouble, a Halloween fundraiser, from 8 to 11 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, at Chicago Art Department, 1926 S. Halsted St.

The program includes DJ sets by Disc Jacqui, formerly known as CQQCHIFRUIT, and SADBXII, along with an artist-made haunted house, a photo booth and a collaborative drawing wall, according to the organizers’ event listing. A costume runway will offer prizes.

Proceeds will support Chicago Art Department’s artist spaces and public programs and Latina Sweat Project’s community wellness work, the listing says.

Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Advance tickets are available through the organizers’ ticket page.
