Fright on Farragut and Halloween parade set for Oct. 31 in Andersonville

Fright on Farragut will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, at Clark Street and Farragut Avenue, according to the Andersonville Chamber of Commerce’s Halloween calendar. The event includes games, candy and music from DJ Lexie.

The 48th Ward Halloween Parade will leave Bromann Park, 5400 N. Broadway, at 10:30 a.m. and end at Fright on Farragut. Participants are asked to arrive at 10 a.m.

Participating businesses will offer candy, toys or prizes from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The chamber’s calendar includes a map that is updated as businesses join.

Gus Giordano Dance School’s company dancers will perform the free “Spooktacular!” show at Clark and Farragut at 2 p.m. The program includes hip-hop and jazz, ending with a group performance of “Thriller.”
