Great Moments in Vinyl brings a program of holiday songs and the stories behind them to Metropolis Performing Arts Centre on December 15, 2026, at 7:30 p.m., according to the venue’s October 5 announcement.

Great Moments in Vinyl Plays the Hits of the Holidays draws from radio staples, traditional carols, television specials and pop recordings. The announced program includes 25 holiday favorites, with music associated with artists including Bruce Springsteen, David Bowie, Michael McDonald, Queen, Dolly Parton and Kristen Bell.

The concert pairs live performances with accounts of how the songs became seasonal fixtures. That mix of music and background is the organizing idea of the Great Moments in Vinyl presentation.

Metropolis is at 111 W. Campbell St. in downtown Arlington Heights. Visit the concert’s ticket listing for current pricing and availability, or call 847-577-2121.
