Paige Kizer’s debut album, “Unconditional,” brings her songs together with a band, background vocalists and choir arrangements by Gracie Lubisky.

The album was released Sept. 25 and recorded at Chicago’s Rax Trax, with Rick Barnes handling mixing and mastering. Kizer wrote the songs, with Sophie Hafer sharing the writing credit on the title track.

“Releasing music over the years, she focuses on positive messages that can live in both sacred and secular worlds and can resonate with her listeners,” publicist August Forte wrote in materials sent to Scapi.

“Whether it is a weekly Church service engagement or a performance fronting her band, Paige and the Kizers, she aims to create music with meaning,” Forte wrote.

The credited players include Tiago Ribeiro on guitar, Isaac Meier on piano and keys, Bryan Filippelli on bass and Daniel Gayden on drums. Megan Jacobs and Char Vander Molen provide background vocals.

Kizer, the Kizers, the choir and Hafer’s band marked the release with a Sept. 27 matinee at Epiphany Center for the Arts. The next local performance listed in the announcement pairs Kizer and the Kizers with Urban Twang at Uncommon Ground on Nov. 28.

The album is streaming on Bandcamp, and Uncommon Ground’s event listing has information about the November show.
