Chicago Symphony has partnered with True Tickets to provide mobile tickets and connect ticket-sharing activity with its audience records, the ticketing company announced Oct. 20.

According to True Tickets’ announcement, the service will let patrons access, use and share tickets while sending ticket activity and attendee information to Tessitura, the organization’s customer-management system.

The company says that connection will help Chicago Symphony identify people who receive shared tickets, in addition to the original buyers. Joseph Fernicola, Chicago Symphony’s director of sales and patron experience, said in the announcement that the partnership is intended to help patrons keep track of and share their tickets.

The release did not specify a rollout date or identify the first performances that will use the service. It announced the partnership without providing a new set of ticket-holder instructions.
