The Greatest, the eight-episode drama about Muhammad Ali, is now streaming on Prime Video. Amazon updated its announcement on November 4 to confirm the release.

Jaalen Best plays Cassius Clay, who became Muhammad Ali. The cast includes Omari Hardwick as his father, Dana Gourrier as his mother, Michael Ealy as Malcolm X and Giovanni Ribisi as trainer Angelo Dundee.

Ben Watkins created the series and serves as showrunner. Michael B. Jordan’s Outlier Society is among its producers, alongside Blue Monday Productions and other production partners.

Lonnie Ali, the boxer’s widow, is an executive producer. Amazon describes the estate-backed project as the first authorized scripted series about Ali’s life.

The supporting cast also includes Aimé Donna Kelly as attorney and civil rights figure Alberta Jones, according to Kelly’s biography at the SAG-AFTRA Foundation. That credit adds another historical figure to a cast that includes Ali’s family and boxing associates.

Amazon says the series is available in more than 240 countries and territories. Its official page includes a trailer and the principal cast list.

All eight episodes are available together. Viewers can start the series now without waiting for a weekly episode release.
