Chicago, Illinois (January 25, 2024) – Porchlight Music Theatre is delighted to announce the extension of its Jeff Recommended production of Cole Porter’s classic musical “Anything Goes,” starring Meghan Murphy. Due to overwhelming popularity, the show, originally slated to close on February 25, will now run until March 10 at the Ruth Page Center for the Arts, 1016 N. Dearborn St.
This 90th-anniversary production, directed by Porchlight Music Theatre’s Artistic Director Michael Weber, with choreography by Tammy Mader and music direction by Nick Sula, has garnered acclaim for its lively performances and innovative approach. Starring internationally renowned Meghan Murphy as “Reno Sweeney,” the musical takes the audience on a toe-tapping voyage across the Atlantic filled with laughs, romance, and intrigue.
“Anything Goes” Performance Schedule:
- Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m.
- Thursdays at 7:30 p.m.
- Fridays at 7:30 p.m.
- Saturdays at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
- Sundays at 2 p.m.
Open caption performances are scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 3, and Saturday, Feb. 10, at 2 p.m. Post-show discussions will follow the performances on Friday, Feb. 2, and Wednesday, Feb. 7, at 7:30 p.m.
