Jacob R. Shaffer (he/him/his) is a dramaturg and playwright working in Chicago to create impactful and revolutionary theater in community. He recently graduated from Millikin University with a degree in theatre specializing in dramaturgy. He is also co-artistic director of fti Theatre, an immersive theater company devoted to found spaces and reimagining classics and new works. When not writing or reading, Jacob enjoys cross stitching, queer theory, arguing about politics, playing RPGs and listening to podcasts.
